When we place our faith in the word of God we will never be alone, and we will never be forgotten.
“The Lord will not reject his people: he will not abandon his special possession.” - Psalm 94:14
What a beautiful reminder that God will never abandon or forsake us! We are His sons and daughters, bought with the blood of Jesus when He died on that cross. It is such a beautiful picture!
Knowing that we are not alone when placing our hope is so important. It allows us to place our hope from a place of expectation and faith. I have found that in the moments I feel the most alone I am at my lowest point and yet my God is right there with me through it all. No matter where I am or what I am doing my God is there. Scripture tells us that there is no where we go, we can ever escape the love of God.
If we go to the ends of the earth He is there, no matter where we go He is always there and He knows just what we need and when we need it. Remember there is absolutely nothing that OUR God can’t do. He is almighty and greater than anything and everything the world could ever throw at you.
It is so important to remember that no matter what the enemy throws your way, our God is greater than it all. If there’s nothing God can’t do then we have nothing to fear, we can wholeheartedly place our hope in the unchanging power of our God.
I vividly remember the first time I flew on an airplane; I was in awe of how it all worked. The fact that I was placing faith and hope in the pilot to get us safely to our destination, not thinking about everything that went into making the flight safe and comfortable for all the passengers. The pilot trusts that the plane will do what it was made to do just as the passengers trust the pilots to do what they were trained to do.
When we place our hope in God only we are trusting that He will do what He promised He would do so long ago.
No matter what life may throw your way, always remember that you are loved by the creator of the Universe. He is for you and not against you. The Lord is always with you and He will never leave you or forsake you.
