Have you ever thought about how life can be so messy at times and it can feel like the world is closing in on itself? I know I have more times than I could probably count, but what I have found to be true in the midst of all the messiness of life is that there is still beauty to be found in the midst of the mess. In those moments when life fills overwhelmingly messy and chaotic, I often find myself looking for beauty in the little things.
There is beauty all around us, often we find that in those moments when life is overwhelming it is hard to see the beauty that is right in front of us. Be encouraged even in those moments, because we serve a God who can do miracles friends. Our God is a miracle worker, promise keeper and mountain mover. He is good and He is kind. He will never go back on His word. He is for you and not against you.
I love this verse found in Micah 6:8,
"He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God." - Micah 6:8
What a thought, seek justice, love mercy, walk humbly with our God. Three simple steps that make a world of difference in our lives. Life is messy and at times confusing, but we can be encouraged knowing that we never walk alone! Our God is so good friends, I'm living proof of His goodness and mercy. There's a song that asks the question, "where would I be if it wasn't for the cross?" That's a question I've asked myself numerous times, and frankly, the answer is, most likely not here. If it wasn't for the cross I would be hopeless, depressed and stuck in a pit, but thank God for His mercy and love.
I'm so thankful for the cross and the shed blood of Jesus on the cross. Through Him we have relationship with the Father and we can have eternal life with Him. I'm so thankful I can say that because of the blood I will never be the same. My life was messy and broken, but with Jesus I am found.
"You gave me life and showed me kindness, and in your providence watched over my spirit." - Job 10:12
So, yes friends life is messy and hard, but life is also so very beautiful and full! I want to leave you with the same question I mentioned above. Where would you be without the cross? I know my life would look entirely different and not in a good way. I'm so thankful for the cross and for my Jesus. Let me tell you friends, my God is good and He will never fail you.
Life is messy, but its beautiful!
Much Love Friends,
Alianna
