In the last month or so I have found myself constantly reminded that Jesus is always near. Now don't get me wrong there have been many times over my life including over the last month where I have found myself feeling down and even a little alone, but I choose to remind myself just as David did to put my hope in God. I love how David said it in Psalm 42,
"Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God." - Psalm 42:5
This is a reminder I tell myself honestly more than I would like to admit, but I have found that in moments we feel the most alone, those are the moments we often find Jesus is the closest. There is a song that goes, "Jesus at the center of it all... Jesus at the center of it all. From beginning to the end... it'll always be, its always been you Jesus. Jesus. Jesus be the center of my life... Jesus be the center of my life. From beginning to the end it'll always be, its always been you Jesus... Jesus" such a powerful reminder of the power and omnipresence of Jesus. No matter the season or the reason, Jesus is always right there with us and He loves us with an everlasting love.
I love the bridge of the song, "From my heart to the heavens, Jesus be the center... its all about you. Yes its all about you". So much power in those words friend! We serve a good God and He is for you and not against you. My grandma used to always remind me when I was young that no matter what happens in this life we always need to remember that Jesus is all around us and within us. She would say, "Jesus before us, Jesus behind us, and Jesus right here among us". Friends, it is my prayer that you would begin reminding yourself daily of those very words.
Jesus before us, Jesus behind us, and Jesus right here among us! What a great reminder on those days we feel so down and forgotten. Jesus is the center of life and He is always right there with you friend. You could never run far enough or fast enough to get away from Him. He loves you friends!
So, if there is one piece of wisdom I can give you. Just one thing you will remember from this entire post I hope its this... Jesus before you, Jesus behind you, and Jesus right here with you no matter the season. Jesus at the center of everything. Remember friends, you are loved more than you could ever know.
