I was reading through my Bible this morning and came across a passage in 1 Corinthians 4 that says, "Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." I love that! Don't lose heart when it seems everything is falling apart, instead look forward to being renewed day after day. If God is for us then who could ever be against us!
Life can be messy and crazy at times, but when we remember the goodness of our God nothing else seems to matter. I was recently talking to a friend about how often we view ourselves through all of faults when we should be viewing ourselves through God's eyes. What I mean by this is that it is important to see ourselves the way God made us and to remember who He says we are. I'm a firm believer that God does not make junk, which means that you where made with a unique purpose and destiny. Scripture tells us that we are God's workmanship created in Christ Jesus for every good work.
That means we have been created by God and for God. We where created in the imago dei (image of God). He calls us His sons and daughters, He calls us chosen, worthy, loved and most importantly enough! If God said it then you know it has to be true! Here's I reminder of who you are:
I'm already loved...
I'm already chosen...
I know who I am...
I know what you've spoken...
And that is enough...
Cause you are ENOUGH...
