Rise like Lions...

For years we as the children of the most high have set in silence. Afraid to open our mouths to proclaim the truth. We set in fear, worrying what others will say or do if we take a stand against the evil of this world. No longer can we set on the side lines, we must stand up and roar like the lions of God that we are.

Throughout the Bible we see God compared to a lion.

"God roars like a lion from high heaven; thunder rolls out from his holy dwelling" - Jeremiah 25:30

Then again in Hosea 11:9-10,

"I am the Holy One and I am here, in your very midst, The people will end up following God. I will roar like a lion- Oh, how I'll roar! My frightened children will come running from the west. Amen!"

For years the God-whisper we hear sounds so quite we almost miss it, but the God-whisper is becoming a shout, a mighty roar. It is high time we roar along side our lion. The Lion of the tribe of Judah.

I love what it says in Joshua 6:10

"Don't shout. In fact, don't even speak- not so much as a whisper until you hear me say, Shout!- then shout away! We must wait for the timing to be just right for our whisper to become a shout"

I love what Winston Churchill said,

" I was not the lion, but it fell to me to give the lion's roar."

You see we are not the Lion, but it has been placed on us to give voice to the lion's roar. Jesus is our Lion. The Lion of the tribe of Judah. We are simply called to echo his roar, so that others will hear. It's time we rise up together and lift our voices in a mighty roar that will sweep across the nation.

" Rise like Lions after slumber, In unvanquishable number, Shake your chains to the earth like dew, Which in sleep had fallen on you- You are many - they are few. ~ Percy Bysshe Shelley.

Its time we echo the Lion's roar.

Much love friends,

Alianna
