I don't know about you guys, but I know I have more moments than I could count of times when I felt hesitant and honestly scared about the next steps I should take. Unknown moments when I felt so disconnected and unsure that life honestly would begin to feel a little scary at times. However, something I have learned through those moments is that praise is the greatest weapon we have. Our praise can open prison doors, set captives free, heal the sick, and change the trajectory of our lives. Praise is a powerful thing friends!
Something I wish I would have learned a long time ago is that praise is a weapon that is able to shine a light within our darkest seasons. Praise lights a path through the unknowns and gives light within the darkness. I love what Psalms 150 says,
"Praise the Lord! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heaven! Praise him for his mighty works; praise his unequaled greatness! Praise him with a blast of the ram’s horn; praise him with the lyre and harp! Praise him with the tambourine and dancing; praise him with strings and flutes! Praise him with a clash of cymbals: praise him with loud clanging cymbals. Let everything that breathes sing praises to the Lord! Praise the Lord!" -Psalms 150:1-6
What a powerful chapter! I love that there is so much that can be learned from the book of Psalms, the whole Bible really! What a mighty God we serve friends, He is good and He is kind! It wasn't all that long ago that I found myself once again in one of those seasons where life was starting to be filled with unknowns and new challenges. Something that I have been clinging to throughout these moments is that praise is my weapon and I can rest assured that I don't have to fight for victory. I fight from a place of victory.
Our God has already won the battle, He is above all things and He is worthy of all our praise. Life may not always make sense and at times it may feel dark, but believe me when I say our praise is game changing. We serve a God who is bigger, better, stronger, and greater than any and all things! He is worthy of our praise!

Much love friends,
Alianna
