No one like our God

Life lately has got me thinking a lot about the magnificence of our God, friends. The fact that the Creator of the world longs for a relationship with us. He knows each and everyone of us and His love for us will never fail.

Who is like our God friends? He is magnificent and worthy of all praise. I love what Exodus 15 tells us,

"Who is like you among the gods, O Lord— glorious in holiness, awesome in splendor, performing great wonders?" -Exodus 15:11

Who is like the Lord? He is magnificent with a grace that will never fail. He is merciful and mighty. Who is like our God? There is no one who compares to our God and who He is.

I mentioned earlier that God is light and He brings light to His people. I love what Matthew 5 often referred to as the beatitudes instructs,

“God blesses those who are poor and realize their need for him, for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs. God blesses those who mourn, for they will be comforted. God blesses those who are humble, for they will inherit the whole earth. God blesses those who hunger and thirst for justice, for they will be satisfied. God blesses those who are merciful, for they will be shown mercy. God blesses those whose hearts are pure, for they will see God. God blesses those who work for peace, for they will be called the children of God. God blesses those who are persecuted for doing right, for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs. “God blesses you when people mock you and persecute you and lie about you and say all sorts of evil things against you because you are my followers." -Matthew 5:3‭-‬11

They will be called the children of God...

What a beautiful reminder that we are the children of God and He has given us the most beautiful instruction book for life. Matthew 5 continues with a reminder that we are the light of the world and the salt of the earth, let's read it.

“You are the salt of the earth. But what good is salt if it has lost its flavor? Can you make it salty again? It will be thrown out and trampled underfoot as worthless. “You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father." -Matthew 5:13-16

You are salt and light friends, and you are so loved!

Much love friends,

Alianna
