I don't know about you, but I love to look through old photos and reminisce on the memories connected to each photo. I recently did just that and came across a photo that left me misty eyed and once again so thankful for everything my God has walked with me through.
Life over the last few years has been hard on all of us, for some of us in more ways then one. if I'm being honest I had forgotten this picture had even been taken.
My dad snapped this photo the day before I had surgery, I was having a hard time and they decided to take me for a long drive (one of my favorite things to do to think and relax). We pulled over at an overlook and I got out of the car with music blasting from my phone and looked around me. I remember feeling so small in that moment and I remember having this feeling inside that everything was going to be just fine.
When I look at this photo it reminds me that no matter what life may throw at me, my God will always walk with me. It reminds me of a promise given in scripture.
"Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." - Isaiah 41:10
I don't know what it is you may be walking through at the moment, but please remember that you are never alone and you are loved. Through all of the ups and downs of life, God is always right there with you and He will never leave you or forsake you.
"The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged." - Deuteronomy 31:8
I encourage you to find moments to rest and look back on all the times God has walked with you through fire and remember that you are dripping with destiny. You are a history-making world-changer and you have so most to offer this world. It doesn't matter what your age, you have a calling and purpose on your life and you are loved.
I love the promise given to Moses right before the exodus out from Egypt. It is a powerful reminder that no matter where we go or what we are doing god is always with us and He goes before us and comes behind. My prayer is that you would remember this promise and hold tight to it.
"The Lord replied, 'My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.'" - Exodus 33:14
In the dark moments and in the light, there is always going to be different seasons we will walk through. Some hard and some seasons for of growth, but through all the good and bad times never forget that you are always loved and you are a child of the most high.
Remember, the Lord goes before you, beside you, and He comes behind you. You are never alone even in the light and dark moments of life. I am so thankful we are all uniquely and wonderfully made, with a purpose unique to us all.
