Life Happens...

Guys... I got to be honest, it has been a rough week. I know you know what I'm talking about. One of those weeks where everything just keeps messing up. To be honest I had no idea what I would say and I honestly didn't want to even think about writing today, but then I felt a little tug in my spirit. A gentle reminder that life happens and God is still good in the midst of it.

I'm one of those people that likes lists and order and as soon as one of those gets taken away, it begins a downhill cycle for me. Which has been this week, but in the midst of that I'm reminded that God is still good and He is in control.

I love the story of Esther. When her people where on the verge of genocide she took a stand for what she knew was right and reminded herself and those around her that it was all on God's capable hands.

"Then Esther sent this reply to Mordecai: “Go and gather together all the Jews of Susa and fast for me. Do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. My maids and I will do the same. And then, though it is against the law, I will go in to see the king. If I must die, I must die.” -Esther 4:15-16

I love her response and I can only pray mine would have been the same. She was willing to lay everything down including her life in order to save her people.

Talk about having a bad day! I hope this is a reminder that even on the worst days God is still good! He is for you and He loves you more than you could ever imagine.

"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” - Joshua 1:9

This is my reminder to this week. When life happens and everything seems to be falling apart just remember that God holds you in the palm of His hand and walks with you every step of the way. You are never alone!

Hold tight to that promise and allow it to strengthen you the next time life tries to tear you down. If nothing else remember I'm in your corner and I believe God has amazing plans in store for you.

Don't forget your sunglasses this week as you look into those bright futures and remember God loves you and so do I!

Much Love friends,

Alianna
