Can we just take a few minutes to be honest and open with each other? I'm willing to bet many of you have been through a season or maybe your even walking through it right now, where you did not feel okay. Friend, can I tell you its okay to not be okay?! I know it can seem like we have to be okay all the time and have everything together, but that is not the case. In fact, no where in scripture does it say we have to have it all together all the time. Jesus said,
"Come to me all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light." - Matthew 11:28-30
We were never created to carry it all alone. Friends, I have good news! Our God will never leave you or forsake you, no matter what the season may be you are walking through He sees you and He walks with you. His burden is light friends! He is for you and not against you. His love and mercy are unending and never failing. What a good God!
It's okay to not be okay, friends. You don't have to have it all together or know all the answers all the time. Just look at all the giants of the faith found throughout scripture. God chose broken people to do incredible things for His kingdom. He picked some of the most unlikely individuals, the ones that most people would overlook to do what other would call impossible. But let me tell you friends, He is the God of the impossible.
"He replied, What is impossible for people is possible with God." - Luke 18:27
Nothing is impossible for our God. He is above all things and through Him all things have there being. What a good God friends! He is good and He is kind. Patient and full of mercy, what an incredible God we serve. I remind you of this friends, because it is so important that you understand that you don't have to know all the answers or be okay all the time. Our God is the God of the impossible and He will never let you down friends.
He is greater, stronger, bigger, than anything the world could ever throw at you. He is love and His love surrounds us friends. No matter what season you may be walking through our God is right there with you and He loves you more than you could ever know.
