I once heard someone say just be normal, it doesn't matter if you have to change who you are in the process. WHAT A LIE! Friends, you were never meant to be "normal". As a son or daughter of the most high you are anything but normal. There is a plan and purpose written on your life that far exceeds our concept of normal. Never change who you are and who God has called you to be in order to fit in or fit into a mold. Normal is not what we have been called too.
"For God saved us and called us to live a holy life. He did this, not because we deserved it, but because that was his plan from before the beginning of time—to show us his grace through Christ Jesus." - 2 Timothy 1:9
We each have been called and given a unique purpose on our lives. I am a firm believer that when David pend the words in Psalms that we are fearfully and wonderfully made, that those words still ring true today and will continue to be true for generations and generations. It can definitely be hard to believe those words at times, but they are true! You have been fearfully and wonderfully made. Scripture tells us our God is love and He continuously pours out His love on us. There is no where we could ever go to escape the love and mercy of our God.
He is good and He is kind. His love will never fail and His grace and mercy will never run out. I love what Lamentations 3:22 tells us,
"The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease." - Lamentations 3:22
Remember friends, you were not created to be "normal" or fit into a mold. You were created by God with a unique plan and purpose on your life. you have God-given uniqueness! So, the next time someone tries to tell you to be "normal" or fit into a mold remember who you are and whose you are! God has great things in store for you.
